Our Ministers

Senior Co-Minister

Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael

Central to Rev. Anya's current ministry is the honest confrontation necessary to dismantle white supremacy, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, and sexism.

Rev. Scott Sammler-Michael

Rev. Scott Sammler-Michael

A "Religious, Naturalist Mystic," Rev Scott strives to embody service to our holy mission to build Beloved Community, together, in covenant.

Until we meet again, virtually or otherwise, you are in our hearts.

"A Prayer for Christmas" led by the Rev. Scott Sammler-Michael. In this darkest week of the year, on this special night, join us for a candlelight Christmas Eve service. Together we will compose prayers worthy of the Christmas holiday, a prayer and stories of good tidings for all people everywhere. As always, we will have a big choir and a small orchestra!

December 11, 2022

“Joy! Holiday Pageantry and Faithful Preparation”— led by the Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael, senior co-minister and Judith Hogan, religious education director. All ages are engaged in worship as we together become the no-rehearsal-holiday-pageant! We will share joy and moments of wonder and awe as our Family Choir sings and an ageless story is told.

The Sublime in the Ordinary

The Sublime in the Ordinary

December 4, 2022

“The Sublime in the Ordinary” Wonders abound and thrive all around us. How do we stop long enough to appreciate the beauty of this world into which we were born? Rev Scott leads a reflection on appreciating and celebrating the wonder of "simple" things, we celebrate the Child Dedication of Clara Josephine Lombardo, and the choir shares sublimity!

Molly, UUCM Religious Education graduate

I am proud to have grown up in this congregation. I learned here to become a compassionate and passionate advocate for social justice on all fronts.

Join us as we counter white supremacy, fight climate change, protect voting rights, witness border injustices, and more.

Share your gifts and help us build Beloved Community.

Whether it is in a classroom, in worship, planting flowers, or on the pledge team, we need your special skills!
