Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Janet Ford
This is a candle of sorrow, a remembrance for Janet Ford who died on April 19th 2025 after lung cancer. She was a member of the Summit Unitarian Universalist Congregation for years before moving to Cedar Crest.
Kathy Zinn
Ginny Crooks lights a candle of concern for her sister, Kathy Zinn and shares, “My oldest sister Kathy just learned that she has a tumor, the nature of which is not yet known. I light a candle of concern for the best possible outcome.”
