Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Jordan Neely
We lit a candle in memory of Jordan Neely, who was brutally choked to death on the subway. As we pray for him and those who mourn him, we remember that our faith compels us to honor the worth and dignity of every person. May his memory reawaken us to compassion.

Marlee Norton
Judith Rew lit a candle for Marlee Norton who died from unknown causes. A friend of Judith’s since high school and college, Marlee left a career in government in Washington D.C., to enter an episcopal seminary and become a priest in her 40s. She has served for more than 20 years in various parishes in Pennsylvania and D.C. She was brilliant, sometimes complicated and troubled, always one of the smarter people Judith has known who had found her calling.
