Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Richard Scobie
Francesca Elms and family lit a candle in memory of Richard Scobie, who died in February. A kind, funny, thoughtful musician, writer, and fighter for justice, with a subdued, yet larger-than-life presence. A social worker by profession, Dick became the Executive Director of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, in 1972. Under his direction, the UUSC worked locally and globally to advance justice by defending human rights and promoting humane solutions to social problems. The world has lost a wonderful soul; he will be missed.
