Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Joaquim DeSousa
Teresa DeSousa lit a candle of remembrance and love for her father, Joaquim DeSousa, who would have turned 94 on November 1. Teresa shares, “I miss you and think of you all the time.”

the Jewish communities of New Jersey
We lit a candle for the Jewish communities of New Jersey who received notice this week of a confirmed threat to Synagogues. This particular threat has been neutralized but the challenge of anti-semitism remains. The clergy groups of Montclair reached out in solidarity this week to our Jewish Colleagues and this candle stands as a promise that we will not falter in our support of our Jewish kin.
