Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Epidemic of gun violence
We lit a candle to denounce the epidemic of gun violence plaguing our nation. Last weekend was the deadliest weekend of the year yet, with 17 killed and 82 wounded. May our leaders hear the cry and acquire the courage to do what our nation needs and what our citizens demand - improve public safety with wise public policy and effective gun control legislation.

Our town wide food ministry
We lit a candle for our town wide food ministry. Many congregations that have supported Montclair Emergency Services for Hope are stepping away from their commitment. This light shines a hope for the future of MESH. This light also shines for the longtime MESH coordinator Gwen Ames who has retired from her post. May she know the good work she has done.
