Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows

the people of Iowa
We lit a candle for the people of Iowa, where a tornado brought death and destruction overnight near Des Moines.

the people of Ukraine
We lit a candle for the people of Ukraine, and for the fears all of us encounter when we witness images of warfare and devastation. Watching the genuine outcome of a dictator bent on destruction, witnessing indiscriminate slaughter and a refugee crisis, our humanity is awakened. May this war end soon, and may the good people of Russia rise up and keep their leaders from exporting misery.
