Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows

Susan Krcmar
We light this candle for Susan Krcmar. Susan, longtime member of our congregation, and her husband Stan are in the process of moving to Rhode Island. We light this candle to recognize the challenge of this process and to honor the many ways that they have graced our congregation with their light - over the years. Susan especially served our congregation by leading our ministry to the Interfaith Hospitality Network and by bringing Dances of Universal Peace to our activities. Susan is here today and she will be present next Sunday. This is the time to bid her peace and comfort on her journey.

Jordan Tassy
Norma Tassy lights this candle and shares: appreciation, thankfulness, gratitude does not begin to cover what is in my heart. This congregation and its extraordinary leaders have shown me such love, support and kindness as I navigate the shattering loss of my beloved son Jordan. Six months ago his life was cut tragically short by Covid-19. He was the light in my eyes and the love in my heart. As I face the next chapter in my life, knowing that I am a part of such a community as this gives me a large measure of comfort. Norma, this light shines for you and it shines for Jordan.
