Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows

Makiyah Bryant
We light this candle in relief and solemn recognition. that while George Floyd’s life has not been restored, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found Guilty on all counts. Although this verdict chips away at the armour of white supremacy, we know the issue is a broken system larger than any single person or trial. We celebrate the honest testimony of police against one of their own, and we honor the movement for Black Lives that has, by its resilience, brought forth the possibility of this verdict.

Dan Hennessy
Anne Hennessy lights this candle for her brother Dan. Anne shares, “My brother Dan unexpectedly went to Heaven Sunday night. My heart is beyond broken; he was my Irish twin, my friend and much loved brother. Please light a candle for him and keep his daughter, Payton, family and friends in your prayers.”
