Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.

Joyce Morrisey
Wayne Foti lights this candle in remembrance of Joyce Morrisey and shares, “On April 1st, 2009 my best friend Joyce died at age 62 from a brain hemorrhage. We were members of the UU Congregation of Plainfield. She was the light of my life. May she rest in peace.”

Hsu Wang Runden
We light this candle of remembrance for Hsu Wang Runden. Hsu was a member of our congregation some decades past when her then husband, John P. Runden Jr. served as the chair of our Board of Trustees. Hsu died on April 4th and Rev. Anya performed her graveside memorial this past Thursday.
