Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows

Dawn Coleman
We light a candle of devastation for our Lead Custodian, Dawn Coleman. Last Sunday, in Aberdeen, Maryland, Dawn’s 14-year-old nephew, Jai-den Alexander Winchester, was murdered by another teen. Ja-Ja, as they called him, was a popular, friendly, outgoing kid. Please hold their family in love and light.

Judah Ford & Orla Cassidy
Dionne Ford shares two candles: first a candle of support for her nephew Judah Ford who is deploying to Ukraine next month. Second is a candle of sorrow for Orla Cassidy. Dionne Ford lights this candle of sorrow for her dear friend Orla Cassidy whose father died unexpectedly on Friday. Please hold Orla and her family in your thoughts as her husband battles an aggressive cancer.
