Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Oliver Rew and Andrea Hamblen
Judith Rew lit a prayer of joy for the wedding of long time couple Oliver Rew, who grew up in our congregation, and Andrea Hamblen. Rev. Anya officiated the wedding beautifully and a wonderful time was had by all of us.
Kurt Byerly
We lit a candle of sorrow for Kurt Byerly of Glen Ridge who died unexpectedly on May 7, 2023 at the age of 51. We grieve with his wife and two young daughters.
